Annette M. Easter
LEWISTON -- Annette M. Easter, 77, of Dixfield, died on Jan. 20, 2013 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1935 in Rumford, a daughter of Arthur and Marjorie (Noble) Bouchard. She attended local schools, graduating from Stephens High School.
As a young woman she worked at J.A. Thurston’s wood mill in Rumford.
Annette was truly an outdoorswoman. She enjoyed all aspects including hunting, fishing, trapping and generally working the land. Of these activities, probably her greatest pleasure was trapping, which she did alongside her companion of 50 years, George Easter, whom she married on, Dec. 4, 1998. She also was truly a lover of all animals, especially cats.
She is survived by two siblings, Rene Bouchard of Canton, and Ted Bouchard and his wife, Shirley of Chicopee, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, George, on Oct. 11, 2006; and siblings, Hazel, Wilfred, Arthur, Edward and Emile.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 42 Weld St., Dixfield with Rev. John Gensel, officiating. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 12-1 p.m. Gifts may be given in her memory to the River Valley Animal Advocates, P.O.
