RUMFORD -- Paula J. Gaffney, 70, of Erchles Street, Rumford, died on February 9, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born in Boston, MA on September 8, 1942, the daughter of Paul and Adelaide (Corey) Bergin. She had attended schools in North Quincy, MA and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Paula worked as a bar tender for many years for the Moose Lodge in Bradenton, FL until retirement.
She was a former member of Moose Lodge in Bradenton, FL and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Rumford.
She was married to Rodger Gaffney, who survives of Florida; daughter, Cynthia Allgire and husband, Pat of Omaha, NE; son, Carey Foster of Rumford; sister, Rita Scheibeler and husband, Tom of Omaha, NE; and two grandchildren, Heaven E. Navarrette and husband, Joshua, and Casey Allgire of Cater Lake, IA.
