George Stephen Leckey

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- George Stephen Leckey, 53, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, left this life on November 26, 2012.
George loved most his family and children. He enjoyed piloting his plane, chess, skiing, hiking, swimming and photography. George loved his work as a PA, especially working with the elderly and making people more comfortable.
He is survived by his sons, Joshua Leckey and his wife, Carrie, and Nicholas Leckey, both of Albuquerque; daughter, Jennifer Leckey of Albuquerque; mother, Lois Leckey of Etna; father, Cleve Ronald Leckey of Mexico; granddaughter, Ashley Paige Leckey; brothers, Greg Leckey and wife, Uschi of Germany, and John Leckey and wife, Joyce of Massachusetts; and sister, Karen Foust and husband, Matthew of Maine.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Beth Preuss Leckey.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
