Albert P. Parent

HUDSON, MA -- Albert P. Parent, 72, passed away peacefully at Marlboro Hospital, surrounded by loved ones on Oct. 19, 2012.

He was born on Aug. 11, 1940 in Rumford, where he was raised and was a longtime resident of Hudson. He was formerly of Maynard.

Albert worked for several companies including Frank Maurer Co. in Concord, MA for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets Post 108 and Hudson Rod and Gun Club.

Albert leaves behind his daughter, Jodi (Parent) Colena and her husband, Shawn of Hudson, MA; his son, Christopher Parent and his wife, Tamera of Rumford; his siblings, Lionel and Susan Parent of Rumford, Harvey and Betty Parent of Mexico, Teresa and Francis Bolduc of Andover and Mims, FL, Patty and Richard Knapp of Roxbury and Dade City, FL, and was the brother of the late Priscilla Sargent of Dixfield.

He also leaves his grandchildren, Kyle, Cameron and Ryan Colena of Hudson, MA, and Krystal and Savannah Parent of Rumford, all of whom were the light of his life; several nieces, nephews and caring friends.

His family would like to thank all the special friends and caregivers at Kindred Nursing Home in Marlboro, MA for making him feel like he was family, he truly loved everyone there.
