Ruth Kidder Warga
TRENTON, NJ -- Ruth Warga, 83, died on May 19, 2011 in Trenton, NJ after a short illness. She was a resident of Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Mexico on October 23, 1927, she was the daughter of Ethel and Elwood Kidder. She attended school in Mexico, graduating from Mexico High School in 1945.
After high school, she was in a bookkeeping/secretarial training program at the Togus Veterans Center, before moving to Washington, D.C. to work at the Pentagon.
Moving to Bordentown, NJ, she married Walter Ferguson. In Bordentown, she worked for Town Laundry as a bookkeeper and then for Palmer-Trout office supplies in Trenton, also as a bookkeeper. Her last job before retiring was as a customer services representative for a cable company in Hamilton, NJ.
Up until recent years, she enjoyed yearly visits back to Maine in the summer where she would spend time visiting family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Walter Ferguson, Jr. of Bordentown, NJ and his children, Debbie and Brian; daughter, Dr. Nancy Ferguson of Washington’s Crossing, PA and her children, Chloe and Deven; her brother, Earl Kidder of Auburn; her sister, Marguerite Fuller of Mexico and Azle, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Walter Ferguson; her brother, George; and her grandson, Walter III.
