Patricia E. Arsenault

AUBURN -- Patricia E. Arsenault, 81, of Maple Street, Rumford, died on January 03, 2011 at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Mexico on February 28, 1929, the daughter of Wilfred and Alma (Glenfield) Shea. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford Class of 1948.

Patricia was a Communicant of St. Athanasius–St. John Church. She loved line dancing, quilting, knitting and crafting. She was a member of St. Timothy Circle #504, Daughters of Isabella.

She was married in Rumford on June 9, 1951 to Ivan E. Arsenault, who survives of Rumford.

Other survivors include a son, David Arsenault and wife, Karin of Kennebunk; daughter, Sharon Eastman and husband, Bruce of Buxton; grandchildren, Tyler and Eric Arsenault of Kennebunk; sisters, Mary Shea of Sun City, FL, Ann Bayer of Honolulu, Hawaii, Helen Wing of Tampa, FL, and Rachel Valliere and husband, Wayne of Buzzards Bay, MA; brother, John Shea and wife, Jesse of Naples, FL and Peru.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Michael and James Shea.

Interment in the spring will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Oncology Dept., c/o Rumford Hospital, 420 Franklin St., Rumford, ME 04276 or to the Hospice House, 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, ME 04210 in her memory.
