Teresa Marie Bevilacqua Wolzmuth
DADE CITY, FL/RUMFORD -- Teresa Marie Bevilacqua Wolzmuth 92, passed away on December 6, 2010. She resided at Royal Oaks, a Nursing Facility in Dade City for five years.
Teresa was born September 8, 1918 in Rumford, the oldest daughter of the late Nicholas and Grace Bevilacqua. She attended local schools and moved to Portland where she resided with her late husband, Richard Swiger and their two daughters.
She later moved to Southwick, MA and worked in Hartford, Connecticut at Pratt-Whitney which later became Chandler-Evans, where she retired. She spent her retirement years at Florida Estates in Zephyrhills, FL. She will be remembered for her love of music as she played the piano and organ.
Preceding her death were her parents; husband, Robert Wolzmuth; an infant sister; two sisters, Fannie Grimaldi and Mildred Ireland.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karyn Swiger from Saco, and Regina Grayce from Brunswick; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren all of Maine. She is also survived by several nieces; nephews; and cousins. She also leaves a special friend, Hyla Fisher of Zephyrhills, who helped Teresa so much in her last years. The family is truly grateful.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at St. John Cemetery in Rumford.
