Vera B. (Barrett) Thompson

MEDFORD, MA -- Vera B. (Barrett) Thompson, 96, died in the Thomas Upham House in Medfield, MA on January 10, 2011.
Born in Belmont, Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ella (Crossman) Barrett. She has been a resident of Walpole, MA since 1989 moving from Rumford Center.
She was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family. Mrs. Thompson was a former member of The Willing Workers of Rumford Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ray W. Thompson; loving mother of Ray E. Thompson of S. Walpole, MA and E. Rosalie Ware of Sandwich, MA; cherished grandmother of three and great-grandmother of two; and sister of the late Viola Gamble and Vesta Winchester.
