Thanks for making a difference

To the Editor:

I was not happy to celebrate Christmas with my wife at the Rumford Community Home this year. I was prepared for depression.

But this Christmas was made special at the home by the concerts, celebrations and the parties. It was truly, surprisingly, a good time for me.

I would like to thank those who came to the home to celebrate with residents. I also would like to thank those who organized the activities, and those staff who participated.

I sincerely thank you for making a difference in people’s lives. May God be with you always.
