Thanks for your help and prayers

To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone for their help and prayers for my wife, Betty, during her recent stay at CMMC in Lewiston.

I know many traveled a long distance to spend time with her and Betty appreciated each and every visitor. I thank everyone who provided meals and goodies to those at home in Andover while I stayed in Lewiston at the Arbor House.

I would like to pubically thank the Apostolic Church of Rumford and Pastor Willhoite for Betty's memorial service. I am thankful for each visitor who attended. I thank Sue Billings of Lloyd's for the donation of three beautiful hanging plants that graced the walkway into the church.

I thank Terry and Helen for going above and beyond in decorating the entryway. I thank Michelle Henderson for the use of music from her CD during the service. In addition, thank you to everyone who provided refreshments at the memorial service.

I especially thank the nursing staff in the ICU in Lewiston. I do not have the words to describe my appreciation for the nurses and aides who helped make my wife's daily care kinder and gentler than I could have ever imagined. She stated over and over that the care she received was excellent!

May God bless each one of you abundantly as you have blessed our family.
