The River Valley is filled with creative individuals who give of their time and resources to various causes. Most importantly, they express their good intentions by showing a kindness to others.
Philosopher and Poet Harry Palmer believed that self-love was the key to be-ing creative. He wrote:
When you adopt the viewpoint that
There is nothing that exists that
Is not part of you, that there is
No one who exists who is not part of you,
That any judgment you make is
Self-judgment, that any criticism you
Level is self-criticism, you will wisely
Extend to yourself an unconditional love
That will be the light of the world.
Just imagine! Being the light of the world! Use your creative imagination, with gentle intention, to bring light and kindness into your neighborhood and town.
The following angels in training shined their light of kindness in word or deed: Lucy Gilbert, Richard Hutchins, Scott Dening, Todd Wardwell, Linda French, Robert Munzner, Bethel Animal Hospital, Dr. Lalonde, Betty Wood, Anne Wood and Joseph Sirois.
Kindness not only counts but it adds up! Today is a good day to get a basket and to give a basket.
