The Basket Lady
By the time I sat down to write the column this morning, the sun had risen, so in my little corner of the house, I didn’t expect to see the sunlight.
With a cup of coffee in hand and a quick glance out of the window, I turned on the computer and waited those long five seconds for the horn to announce that I could go into Microsoft Word.
In an instant, the sunlight burst through the window and bathed me in the warmth of its light. For a few seconds, I was blinded by its indescribable magnificence.
Awestruck, I reached my hands out toward the sun and tried to grab up all of its rays and bring them into my heart.
Several years ago, Isabelle Robichaud gifted me with a perpetual calendar of wise sayings about angels always being close by and my most favorite verse happens to be in March (my birth month), and I’ll gladly share it with you once more.
What would it be like to soar into Heaven?
What would it be like to love as naturally as you breathe?
What would it be like to dance in the light of God?
Hold that thought as long as you can.
Question: Did we have an actual summer this year? I must’ve missed it. Of course, now that school is in session, hopefully folks have had a chance to catch their breath and 1, 2, 3, get ready for the next round of holiday festivities that includes a mad dash to the stores to shop till you drop.
Let’s do a review of the ABC’s today. There are 26 letters in the alphabet and each week, I will take three letters of the alphabet and teach you a lesson about the ABC’s of Faith.
Ask and it will be given to YOU.
Consider the lilies.
The dearest teacher is always going to be your life’s experiences and that’s true because,
In school, you get the lesson first, then the test.
In life, you get the test first, then the (hard) lesson. Think about it.
The following angels in training have shown a kindness; true meaning is found in the little acts of kindness that spring from the heart.
