Support for Sheryl Briggs

To the Editor:
Rep. Sheryl Briggs and I served together in the legislature from 2007 to 2010 and I know what an excellent job she has done for the people of her district and the entire River Valley region. Sheryl is a valued member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee and knows how important our natural resources are to those of us who enjoy hunting and fishing, and as a way of attracting visitors to our area. Her work with seniors and veterans is very important in our communities and her response to constituent requests are dealt with in a prompt and effective way. In short, she is what a legislator should be.
The Democrats are working hard to regain control of the legislature to put the brakes on the ill-advised schemes of the governor and the extremist Republicans in the legislature.
Sheryl will be an experienced voice for this area in her 4th term and I hope that you will join me in voting for her.
