Support for Lisa Keim
To the Editor:
I know I don't need to tell you how hard it is to find a job in this economic climate.
Despite all the efforts put forth by both sides of the aisle on all levels of governments, it is an unfortunate reality that Mainers are still struggling.
We need a voice in Augusta that will fight hard to bring jobs back to this region. I have met Lisa Keim personally while she was tirelessly driving to every door in the district. I was impressed by her personal resolve to help Mainers, and was inspired by her reason for running for office in the first place.
She wants real change in the lives of my neighbors and I, and to do this, her first priority is job creation. Also, Lisa was disappointed by our current representative's voting record; Sheryl Briggs' record of voting for job creating measures is surprisingly bare.
By removing needless regulatory burdens and by creating a favorable business atmosphere, I believe Lisa is the right person to send to Augusta. Quite simply, she will work for a better Maine.
