Hope Association’s What Not Shop/Thrift Store is presenting its Winter Fashion Show on January 18 starting at 11:45a.m. with the Glee Club Performing. The fashion Show will begin at noon. Take a break from winter and come to see what is available at the What Not Shop/Thrift Store, 85 Lincoln Ave. in Rumford.
The Western Maine Economic Development Council is offering an email marketing workshop on Tuesday, January 29 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bethel Inn with Shannon Kinney. Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice is having a winter fundraising event to benefit home health care services in Maine. You can “Ski For Health” on January 27 at Carter’s Cross Country Center in Oxford from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. snow or shine. There will be sample homemade soups and chilies, new equipment try-outs, hot chocolate and much more. Register online at www.ahch.org and click on Ski For health under what’s happening.
They are also having a Cabin Fever Online Auction the bidding will be from January 27 to February 10. Auction preview is now open at the www.biddingforgood.com/cf13 website. A few items available are, A Rangeley Lake Getaway, Dinner for 2 at the Oxford Grill, Lia Sophia necklace and bracelet and a beach house weekend on Middle Range Pond in Poland.
