The Western Maine Economic Development Council with financial support from the Central/Western Maine Workforce Investment Board has created a DVD lending library at each of the chambers that serve Oxford County businesses. These DVDs can be borrowed by any business (do not have to be a Chamber member) in Oxford County. They are DVDs that deal with customer service, diversity, stereotype issues and customer service in restaurants.
If your business would like to borrow any of these free DVDs, call me at 364-3241 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. They can be borrowed for up to a week unless your business has a special need to keep them for a longer period. The Small Business Development Center has a free workshop called “Exceeding Customer’s Expectations” that is online at www.mainesbdc.org.
