The Chamber Chatter
March came in like a lion, for sure! That was a good thing for Black Mountain of Maine. Let’s hope (once skiing season is over) that we see Little Boo Peep later in the month!
Executive Director Catherine Johnson of the Hope Association sent me some great items from the Association. The What Not Shop is offering “Customer Appreciation Punch Cards”. If you purchase at least $5 in items during your visit, you will receive one punch on your card. Once you have 15 separate purchases of $5 or more your card will be complete and you will be eligible to choose your own Fill-A-Bag for $5. For your convenience you may keep your, “Customer Appreciation Punch Cards” at The What Not Shop.
As part of the community the Hope Association is always looking for suggestions and ways to better meet your needs and provide quality services. The Hope Association is seeking volunteers to, sew, knit, do arts and crafts, read, walk, hike or other outdoor activities with their clients. They are also seeking those that would like to help fundraise. If interested contact Angela Rich at H.R. 364-4561.
We still need nominations for the River Valley Chamber of Commerce annual awards dinner (April 26). If you would like to nominate a worthy candidate or candidates or discuss the criteria in more detail call 364-3241 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
