In preparation for the holidays, the Christmas in the Valley parade will take place on December 2 at 6 p.m. (lineup at 5 p.m.) starting from the second entrance of Mountain Valley High School.
This year’s theme is “A Maine Christmas.” If there are any non-profit (civic) organizations or businesses that would like to enter a float in the parade, let me know with a phone call or email so that I can get you the appropriate documentation to do so. There will be two categories, non-profit and business. Winners will be judged and awarded banners to carry along the parade route. This is always a popular and well attended event.
The CITV Valley Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MVHS, featuring a vast array of crafters, the famous cookie walk, the Chinese auction, and great food provided by the Relay For Life crew.
Susan Atwood from the Wilson Lake Inn would like to share the new VBrochure on their facebook page. Use the link; http://www.facebook.com/WilsonlakeInn?sk=app110205312345813. You can click on the tabs across the top (Accommodations, experience, meeting & functions). Each will have a variety of photos and will show the beauty of the area around the Inn.
The Blue Moose General Store & Campground in Carthage has come under new ownership and is having a grand opening soon (if not already). The River valley Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting ceremony there on October 28th.
Please come and say hello to the new owners, Christine and Teresa Cedrone.
