The Chamber Chatter

Hope Association is asking us to recycle and provide jobs for the clients by purchasing cotton rags! 12x12 squares are available at five pounds for $4.75 or a large box cost $11.25. Hope Association would like to thank local garages, businesses and NewPage for shopping locally, supporting individuals with disabilities and cutting cost for your own family and organizations by taking part in this endeavor.

On another Hope Association note, they are presenting Aimee Cecile-DesRoches of the Maine Autism Society on Wednesday, March 27 starting at 3 p.m. This will take place at the Hope Association’s 85 Lincoln Ave. location. The Autism Society of Maine seeks to provide information, referrals and advocacy services to the community to help Maine protect and serve individuals with Autism. The snow date is March 28 at the same time.

It is now March and Easter will soon be upon us (March 31). This is just another reminder of the annual Ten Town Easter Egg Hunt on March 30. It is for children 7-12 and starts at 6 a.m. and concludes at 9 a.m. The clues for the whereabouts of the eggs will once more be given over the air by WOXO. Children 6years of age and younger will have their own hunt at 9 a.m. at the Mexico Fire Station. It is not too late to sponsor an egg ($10) and if you wish to do so contact me at 364-3241 or email info@rivervalleychamber.com; checkout our website www.rivervalleychamber.com.
