Post 100 Commander's Corner

It is with great pleasure that I mention as of right now our Post is at 70.73% of having 100% membership paid in dues.

The last 24 members who need to step up will remember that your dues need to be paid by Dec 31st. Anyone behind please come in let's work together on getting you up to date. Any other S.A.L.'s members remember your cards are here at the post you can come in or send in a check. I'll make sure you receive your card.

Now for good news, we have our craft fair/bakesale going on again so call Gloria Patneaude for info on the tables at 364-2827. Our public supper is still going on the first Saturday of the month right after the craft fair. On Nov. 9, we are having a Veterans Ceremony for those that never received their medals or certificates of appreciation from Uncle Sam.

For more information on this, contact Sheryl Briggs or the Dixfield Legion Hall at 562-8030. Along those lines we are having a special supper for all area veterans being put on Nov. 12 by a local church at Post 100 American Legion.

Our Nickel Bingo folks are coming in to enjoy our hospitality on Mondays and Fridays. More news will be sent to the papers for December and New Year's.
