Support your Legion
To the Editor:
Being a veteran of the U.S. military is a proud moment in any young man's life. To serve and fight for freedom that we all enjoy is an awesome way. Then to come and join the American Legion to carry on that fight is also awesome.
We at Post 100 may have different ways of thinking but we all work together for the same results for our veterans. The community around the American Legion does so much and we at this post wish to thank you. We are having a ceremony on Friday and also a supper on Monday for all veterans. I'm asking all veterans to come and support your Legion again.
I do not want to see this great organization lose another member or post. We have veterans coming home and they need our help in the transition back into civilian life. Some may need help with medical, physical, or paperwork for pensions. Maybe just a place to be with other comrades of Arms. Help us with this fight, let's make a difference again. Call 1st Vice Edward J. Ellis at 357-6437. I'll be proud to open the hall and show you the changes that have been made.
Edward J. Ellis,
1st Vice Commander
