A vote for Bourret

To the Editor:

Please vote for Tom Bourret to fill the position of tax collector for the Town of Rumford.

Tom worked as my deputy tax collector since July of 2009. He exhibited indisputably high work ethic, learns quickly and is an honest young man.

He took over all tax collection duties, in full, when I left the position in late February and is doing a terrific job. Tom has walked to walk and has proven he can do the job.

I could not think of a betty deputy three years ago, and I cannot think of a better person for the tax collector's position today. I feel the office will be in good hands for some time to come if Tom is elected.
