Report was incorrect

To the Editor:

On behalf of our brother, Dale Pellerin, we would like to let everyone know that what you read in the paper is not always true.

Our dad did have insurance on his home and there was also a smoke detector in the house. On July 2, there were two forensic specialists who spent four hours in the house and they were able to tell the family that a lit cigarette was not the cause of the fire. It was concluded it was electrical.
