Thanks for supporting art auction fundraiser

To the Editor:

INK! & Gaskyl Productions would like to thank all who came to the dinner and art auction fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Painful Pleasures.

While disappointed in the small crowd, we managed to raise an incredible amount of money for both parties. Thanks to the amazing artists who donated work, and those who bid on them.

To all who ate, bought, donated and cooked the food and supplies, your the best. Much appreciation to Erin Cox and the Sun Journal for their support and coverage. Thanks Margaret Howes and Steven's Taxi for paying part of the American Legion fee, as they did not donate or help advertise the benefit.

Huge thanks to everyone in the community who came together to help put this event on. You know who you are and we couldn't have done it without you! Kris Howes, the Tattooist of INK! will continue doing Cancer Ribbon Tattoos and donating 33 percent of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society. Come get tattooed for a good cause!
