Support for Patrick

To the Editor:
Sen. John Patrick has given his help to a large number of people through his many years in public office.
His tireless commitment to serve the people of Oxford County should never be in question. He has given up a lot of his hobbies and time with his wife to serve the people.
My son is in the U.S. Army and this spring he came home on leave because he was being shipped to Germany for three years. My son needed to have his driver's license updated so he could drive in Europe. He has never had to renew his Maine driver's license in the past 14 years.
We all know it takes a couple of weeks to receive a new license. John made a call to the DMV in Augusta and had my son's license expedited. The very next day it came in the mail. No worries for my son.
Last spring, he worked to get oil for prepaid customers that an oil company was trying to renege on. He has been an advocate for seniors, veterans and the neediest.
I will vote to re-elect Senator John Patrick for as long as he wants this public office.
