Pro-active effort by Envision Rumford

To the Editor:

It would be hard to miss the Christmas decorations that appeared last Saturday in the windows of empty store fronts on Congress Street. They look merry and bright. So does Congress Street.

You may be wondering who made the Christmas window scenes happen. Envision Rumford did. Envision put it together, right on the heels of the terrific Pumpkin Festival.

Tammi Lyons coordinated the window-decorating project with help from Envision volunteers and donations from Barbara Bartash, Tammi’s sister-in-law, and the Rumford Center’s Village Improvement Society.

Envision Rumford is an upbeat, pro-active group working to support established and new businesses on Rumford’s Island.
