Support for Sheryl Briggs

To the Editor:

Sheryl Briggs, my state representative, is someone who cares about the people who live in her district.

I live in Mexico and we have a large number of elderly who survive on fixed incomes Sheryl could not support dropping low income elderly from prescription benefits. Sheryl could not support the anti-worker legislation that has poured from Augusta in the last two years, abandoning injured workers, cynical changes to unemployment, and ill considered changes to child labor laws.

Sheryl does support our veterans and their service to our country, she sponsored and passed Vietnam War Remembrance Day, which is now celebrated every March 30th from now on to honor our Vietnam veterans.

If you care for our communities and our state please join me to re-elect Sheryl Briggs as our representative in House District 93.
