Support for Matt Peterson

To the Editor:
Matt Peterson, state representative from District 92, is running for re-election.
As a college student nearing graduation, I am concerned with the future of our great state, and the leaders we need to ensure a prosperous one. It’s time to reject the notion of ‘team-based’ politics, and elect people concerned with getting the best ideas through, regardless of affiliation; this person is Matt.
He fights tirelessly in Augusta to help his district, and our state. He was instrumental in getting key legislation passed to allow Mixed Martial Arts competition in Maine. And from this, I have seen with my own eyes his impact on business, jobs, and economic growth; the same cannot be said for the majority of representatives.
His vision of the River Valley area is one of progression and opportunity. I’m urging everyone to vote for Matt Peterson,we need him.
