A suitable punishment for trafficking
To the Editor:
I don’t know how the rest of you feel, but I feel that if you are caught selling prescription drugs such as pain medication that has been prescribed to you then you should be black balled from ever having a pain medication prescribed to you for the rest of your life, especially if MaineCare is paying (which I am sure is paying for 75 percent of the drugs in this town).
This should hold true if you are giving your meds to someone else to sell for you or sell theirs for them also. If you fall and break your back, tough luck, no pain meds for you, you blew it.
Everything should stop MaineCare, SSI, SSDI, TANF and food stamps if you are caught doing something as illegal as trafficking.
