Support for Sheryl Briggs

To the Editor:

I will be casting my vote in support of Dist. 93 Rep. Sheryl Briggs in the Nov. 6 election and I encourage all others regardless of party lines to consider doing the same.

I state this before all as a pretty staunch registered republican for over 25 years. Since her inception into the political arena, Sheryl has shown time and again what it takes and means to be a true leader. Sheryl has always and consistently done the work required to get all the facts surrounding the critical issues and most importantly has always voted for what is right regardless of whether an issue was republican or democratically derived.

Sheryl is not a typical politician and she is always right on the pulse of her constituents and understands the impacts of her votes upon the people that she represents. She has consistently done things on behalf of the people that she so dearly and caringly represents and she has earned our trust through actions not words and we should keep her seated in Augusta representing our needs. I hope everyone, whether Blue, Red, or Independent takes a look at her record and all the good she has done on behalf of everyone within her district and considers casting their vote for a true representative that understands what our needs are in this area instead of what any individual party thinks.
