Support for Sheryl Briggs

To the Editor:
For a number of years now, I have worked with Rep. Sheryl Briggs. I have seen her in action. Rep. Briggs is a hard-working, knowledgeable lawmaker -- a real go-getter!
A lifelong resident of the area, Sheryl Briggs and her family have long been involved in community affairs. She and her husband raised their family here and her children attended public schools here.
In the Legislature, Sheryl Briggs does her homework on all issues and works across the aisle to get things done. On the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee she demands answers, she works for solutions.
Sheryl Briggs is an independent thinker, an outdoorswoman, a member of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine and the River Valley Riders ATV Club. She is a supporter of sports interests and of small businesses which are the backbone of our economy.
I strongly urge the voters of Mexico, Dixfield, Canton, Carthage and Peru to re-elect Sheryl Briggs to the House of Representatives.
