Bring issues to Consumer Council
To the Editor:
There are some serious cuts to the mental health resources through the Department of Human Services.
This is a time for consumers with mental illness and their friends and family to take part and join the Consumer Council System of Maine in making the voice to be heard in Augusta.
In Rumford, the way to do that is to bring your issues and the issues of the community to the local council, which meets every third Wednesday at 209 Lincoln Ave. (the old Veterans' Clinic). Transportation is available with prior notice. Everyone is invited.
