Support for Sheryl Briggs

To the Editor:

I've had the honor to be by Sheryl Brigg's side when the Vietnam War Remembrance Day became law.

Sheryl sponsored this bill and was the advocate who made it happen. Her "I won't quit" attitude has earned her my respect and friendship.

This past March, Sheryl was instrumental in organizing the Maine Silver Star awards program in Rumford. She did an awesome job of bringing area veterans together for this special recognition ceremony. Once again, I was honored to be by her side.

If I lived in her district she'd have my vote without hesitation, I truly hope she has yours.
