Support for Matt Peterson

To the Editor:
Rep. Matt Peterson is running for re-election for Maine House District 92. Matt has been a great Representative for Rumford.
As a member of the Health & Human Services Committee, Matt has worked tirelessly to re-design long term health care services for Maine seniors. He is also a powerful advocate for individuals with disabilities. His efforts have helped to improve health care systems in Maine which allow more Maine residents to live independently.
Matt has been recognized by his colleagues as the "go-to guy" on health care issues.
Matt feels strongly that government should be efficient, transparent and responsive and that state expenditures should be made thoughtfully. He was a leader in resolving budget issues while preserving essential services. I am confident that Matt will continue to work on issues that are crucial to the River Valley such as education and economic development.
Sound values inform good decisions. They are the compass for Matt's decisions. He will be an important voice for the citizens of District 92. I will vote for Rep. Matt Peterson on Nov. 6.
