Post 100 American Legion news

Looks like spring is here and motorcycles are coming out along with kids on bicycles, please look both ways and drive safely.

Also folks to all members we are at 84.15 % with a few new members on board. If you haven't paid your dues the according to Department you lose your Legion benefits.

All members who haven't done their part you need to remember this Legion will fight for you all the way on things of importance. Medical, pension and anything else. Lady Veterans come talk with the Legion people will help in any way possible, service reps, paperwork for pensions, doctor appointments, even shuttle rides if needed. Also to all motorcycle riders, this post is having a Motorcycle Swap Meet, sponsored by the Dixfield Legion Riders, on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with tables inside for things.

Posters are up and some Vendors have expressed interest in this meet. Prices for spaces outside will be $25 for a table; inside, the price is $15.

We are in hopes of more functions being put on for everyone. We are also planning on race day and ball games for folks to enjoy at the post. Come check us out and if your a service person come join the ranks of Legionaries, Auxiliary, S.A.L. and the Legion Riders
