To the Editor:
Western Foothills Kids Association would like to greatly thank Patty Duguay and River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition for their support of our summer program.
They, through local business donations and a grant for which they applied from the Agnes Lindsay Foundation, provided numerous camperships to area children to attend our Summer Adventure Program.
If it was not for their efforts 30 children might have missed out on a fun and rewarding summer experience. The children, families and we are extremely grateful to RVHCC for pursuing and offering the camperships.
It really made a huge difference for these children and we would have been very sad not to have them part of our program this summer!
