No no

To the Editor:

Remember when you were a child and an adult would say "no?"

It seemed that they're just saying "no" once was not enough. They always seemed to have to follow up that first "no" with "no no," then the child would listen.

Well that is the situation Mexico taxpayers are in with the article on the rec part that Mexico taxpayers said "no" to. One "no" is not going to be enough. We have to go back and say "no" again. Then maybe they'll understand we mean "no."

Like back when were speaking to children and we said "no no," maybe they will get our message if we say "no" twice!

To be successful in our try to put some control in Mexico's spending, it is important to vote "no" on Aug. 30. Our taxes are high enough. Most towns our size have no rec director. They have volunteers and they manage to have great programs.
