Yard sale treasure lost

To the Editor:

On Saturday, June 4th or Sunday, June 5th, in all the chaos of my yard sale at 264 vernon St. in Bethel, an old brown purse disappeared that was not to have been for sale. This purse was not marked to be for sale but believe may have accidently been sold.

The purse I could give two hoots about; it's the contents that are of personal importance to me. The contents contained very old letters to my aunt Helen Lowe along with many old post cards that were addressed to her.

These items would have no interest to anyone unless you were a collector and wanted the post cards. These family items mean alot to me. I have not had the chance to read them and would like to. It is info on her earlier life.

If anyone who was at my yard sale has or knows of someone who was at the yard sale who may have this old fashioned purse, I would really like to get the contents back. You can even mail them to me anonamously to Jane Ryerson, P.O. Box 152, Bethel, ME 04217, or call me at 357-2772, or you can leave them at 264 Vernon St. in Bethel anytime.
