Support for Lisa Keim

To the Editor:
As a proud gun owner, I cherish the way of life that comes with owning a gun. It is a basic aspect of life for most residents here in western Maine, and I take pride in the recent legislation passed in Augusta that reinforces that right.
However, Sheryl Briggs, our current state representative, earned a "D" rating by the NRA in their most recent scorecard. There is only one grade worse than this. We don’t need legislators who try and curtail our way of life; we need to send Lisa Keim, a grade "A" NRA endorsed candidate, to the state house, where she will fight for our gun rights.
It’s time for a change in representation, Lisa will work hard for us and our rights. I think Lisa will do a great job in Augusta and I will be voting for Lisa Keim on November 6th.
