Appreciative of Rumford Hospital

To the Editor:

On Christmas eve morning, I was in severe pain and needed to be brought to the Rumford Hospital.

Except for having routine blood work done prior to physicals, I really haven't spent much time in the hospital.

This particular morning, the emergency room area was quite busy. I actually showed up during a shift change.

However, I was treated quickly and precisely by the most caring and professional doctors and nurses.

By noontime, I was in surgery having my appendix removed. By mid-afternoon, I was resting comfortably in one of the amazing private rooms of the newly completed wing.

All the hospital rooms were full with patients. However, I had no idea at the time. The nurses and staff were so attentive to me. I literally thought I was the only person staying there.

I am so appreciative and in total awe of the Rumford Hospital and their amazing team of doctors and outstanding staff for the wonderful care I received.

Thank you to all who worked on Christmas eve and Christmas day at the hospital and took such special care of me during my stay. You are so appreciated.
