It just takes a kind heart
To the Editor:
I am the Maine State Rep. for Unlocking Autism and the owner of a cleaning business called Faith, Hope & Love Cleaning Services.
I have been trying to figure out what I as a person could do to help raise more money for children with Autism, and as a mom of a child with ASD this holds dear to my heart. As the holiday season gets closer and the love for the Lord seems to get stronger I decided that as of Jan. 1, 2011.
I, as a business owner and as a person who loves and cares for all with ASD, I'm going to donate $5 to every $100 I make off from all cleaning jobs I do through Faith, Hope & Love Cleaning Services to Unlocking Autism of Maine (www.unlockingautism.me.org).
There's so many non-profits out there that needs the help of each and everyone of you to help keep them going and to help do what they're trying to do, whether it be to raise awareness, giving funds to therapies, or even to help find a cure.
It doesn't take much; just a kind heart! My business isn't a big one and I don't rake in that much money but I do know that every cent raised will help and I'm willing to do anything for I love these children with all my heart. What are you willing to do for a non-profit close to your heart?
Have a great New Year's and remember there's so many less fortunate then you and I who need Faith,
Hope & Love from people like us!
