About Strathglass Park project

To the Editor:

The re-mortaring of the 16-foot high granite gate at the entrance to Strathglass Park is nearly complete, with only some after wash yet to be done in the spring.

The work is part of a project commissioned by the Strathglass Park Preservation Society and will be completed in the spring when new lights are installed at the top of the pillars. The gate will be illuminated every night as part of the town’s streetlight program.

Details can be found at www.strathglass.org. The Society would like to thank mason Kevin Cormier and commend him for his excellent work.
