Thanks for helping Safe Voices to make a difference

To the Editor:

To Mountain Valley High School Civil Rights Team, all faculty and students:

We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to all of you.

The abundance of items that were delivered is beyond anything we were imagining and the obvious consideration for the variety of items included speaks to your thoughtfulness and understanding of the needs of the individuals and families we serve.

When someone is struggling to live free from violence all their money is used to pay rent, heat and electricity. To have toothpaste, diapers, band-aids, shampoo and other much needed items – is because of you.

And though they may not know who you are, they know someone in their community cares, and that means more than any words we could ever include on this piece of paper.

We see the tears that well in their eyes, hear the catch in their voice when they say, ‘Thank You’ and we experience their hug of gratitude.

So, from us, on their behalf- Thank you for helping us to make a difference.
