Thanks for supporting Family Fun Day

To the Editor:

The Friends & Family Forever, Relay For Life team recently had their third annual Family Fun Day.

It was a gorgeous day and very successful. We would like to thank all those who were a part of that.

First to the Mexico Recreation Department for the use of their beautiful park; the Mexico Junior Explorers for volunteering their time to make sure everything ran smoothly; and the Maine State Game Wardens Service and their homesome black lab for taking the time and explaining and demonstrating the search and rescue procedures.

Also, Mountain Valley Taxi for their generous donation to our pork roast dinner, and Matt and Judilee for their hard work and serving up an awesome meal; and Ruger, Duffy and Masi for being so patient and giving the children and adults rides on a very warm day. Dana, you music was wonderful!

And to the Oxford County Communication team (CERT) for explaining their ham operating services.

To all the great volunteers, what a job you all did! Hopefully, we'll see you all next year.
