On May 26, Officer Josh Aylward responded to a call at 12:45 a.m. in which someone tried to enter a Chase Avenue residence through a bedroom window. The person was scared off by the occupant.
Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said they called surrounding towns to search for the burglar but the search was unsuccessful.
On May 18, a Peru resident report that while a Ford Ranger pickup was parking off the Roxbury Road, someone smashed the windows, drained the oil, slashed the tires and dented the body, causing an estimated $2,000 in damage. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon, who is investigating, said they have a suspect.
On May 13, the Free Store reported someone forcibly entered store and took the donation jar, which had between $50 and $100 in it. Officer Kyle Matthews is investigating and they have some leads.
Jeffrey Hill, 22, Rumford, charged with violation of conditions of release, May 23 by Officer Josh Aylward.
Edward McNamera, 37, Mexico, charged with terrorizing, and two warrants for failure to pay fines, May 19 by Officer Dan Carrier. McNamera was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
Kassandra Haines, 20, Mexico, charged with domestic assault, May 17 by Officer Kyle Matthews.
Robert LeDuc, 43, Mexico, charged with violation of conditions of release and burglary, May 13 by Officer Kyle Matthews.
