Not a missing child

An advertisement purchased on this page in the April 11, 2012 edition of the Rumford Falls Times by Jessi Briscoe indicating that a Makenzi Cray has been missing since October 2011 was false.
Franklin County Sheriff's Detective David St. Laurent said this involves a custody case, not a missing child event.
Billi Hodgkins of Roxbury, Makenzi's biological grandmother, said Makenzi has been living with her dad. She would not say where he lives.
Hodgkins said she has also been busy tearing down the flyers over Rumford posted by Briscoe that say Makenzi is a missing child. Similar flyers began appearing two weeks ago in the Skowhegan-Waterville area. She asked that people seeing these false flyers to please remove them.
Hodgkins noted she is considering taking out a restraining order against Jessi Briscoe.
