Post 100 Commanders Corner

The State Convention is coming up June 15-17 and it should be good.

It is also with great pleasure that I mention again that Dixfield along with its businesses and the hard work of the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 100 we have 6 young

adults interested in attending Girls and Boys State from Dixfield but only five will be attending, two young men and three young ladies. We wish to thank all the businesses again for their help in making this happen.

Also, folks for you older Veterans, we the Officers of Post 100 are changing our monthly meeting date to the First Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. on the main floor so it will be easier to attend. The Ladies Auxiliary still have their meetings on the second Sunday at 6 p.m.

The post is proud to say we will be having our usual monthly suppers and yard sales. Our Nickel Bingo is Mondays and Fridays at 6 p.m.; doors open at 4 p.m.

Baked beans and hot dogs are scheduled for our June supper. The hall is there for those who need us. Funerals, wedding receptions or other functions.

Enjoy our once a month Valve Cover Races being put on by Post 100 Legion Riders and Post 24 Legion Riders. Points for racing, $7 per car and definitely good eats.
