On Feb. 14, Dep. Chris Davis investigated a 3 p.m. call from a woman on the Intervale Road in Bethel who said two men in a old Chevy pickup possibly two wheel drive, 1997-1999, pulled into the house across the street and got out, looking around. She went out and asked them what they were doing because this house has been abandoned for sometime. The guys told her that they had a work order to check the power in the house. She thought this was a little strange. She watched them enter the house and after a while came out both carrying garbage bags about half full of something they calmly got into their truck and headed towards the East Bethel Road. She described one male as average height and weight with dark hair. The other was the same build with fair hair.
