(third base/pitcher); juniors Izaak Mills (catcher/pitcher) and Zack Radcliffe (second baseman); sophomores Adam Volkernick
(centerfielder/pitcher) and Ryan Nicols (leftfielder/pitcher).

Falcon softball preview
Apr 29, 2011 12:00 amRUMFORD -- There will always be highs and lows during the spring season, so the objective for the Mountain Valley softball team is to try and limit the latter in its attempt to achieve some success.
The degree of how many highs depends on the Lady Falcons themselves and how each player reacts to different situations. A majority of the load will rest on the shoulders of several veterans who will be counted on to wade through the rugged Mountain Valley Conference.

The aforementioned issue has been an achilles heel for the Mountain Valley boys' lacrosse team, who have found the sledding to be rough in Class B. There have been flashes of success, but those moments have been few and far between.
