Feb 08, 2013 12:00 amRUMFORD - A Mass of Christian Burial for Normand T. Bourret of Rumford was celebrated on January 14, 2013 at the Parish of the Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, with Fr. James Martel as the celebrant.
Bernard Poirier was the Altar Assistant and Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical Selections were You Raise Me Up, How Great Thou Art, On Eagle’s Wings, Ave Maria and a special musical selection was Je Nai LaVoir Ujour that was sung by Sister Suzanne Bourret, P.M., Marie Fournier and Georges Bourret.Funeral services held for Daniel J. Feb 08, 2013 12:00 amRUMFORD -- A Memorial Service honoring the life of Daniel J. Ames was held on January 16, 2013 at SG Thibault Funeral Home.
Fr. James Martel officiated. Full Military Honors were rendered by the Maine State Honor Guard Bangor.
A reception followed at the American Legion.
Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.

Special music included Imagine, Simple Man, and Well, It's All Right. Speakers included Dan O'Rourke, speaking words written by Troy Pomeroy (parent); Diane Connolly (friend); Morgan Palmer (sister); Keith Gaudet, Matt Carter, Ryan Woods (friends); Kylie Palmer (sister), Shelby Osgood (girl friend), Britni Decker (cousin), Rev. John Gensel and Mike Palmer (parent).
Robert J. “Bob” Gallant
Feb 01, 2013 12:00 amRUMFORD -- Robert J. “Bob” Gallant, 62, of South Rumford Road in Rumford, passed away on January 26, 2013 at his residence following a long illness.
He was born in Rumford on October 17, 1950, a son of Lewis A. and Marguerite (Belanger) Gallant. Bob was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School Class of 1970.
